距离2018年新春佳节还有不到一个月！说到在佛山过年，行花街是佛山人过春节的必备节目。花市以穗（广州）、佛（佛山）、陈（顺德陈村）、龙（东莞石龙）4个古城镇起源最早，除夕游花街，还有“卖懒倡勤”的意思，童谣唱道：“卖懒，卖懒，卖到年三十晚。”花市一般在春节前十天左右开始，到年三十晚12点结束，除夕夜是最高潮。

Less than a month! 2018 Spring Festival is coming! Talking about celebrating new year in Foshan, strolling around flower market is one of the traditional customs. Flower market is originated from four ancient towns, Sui (Guangzhou), Fo (Foshan), Chen (Shunde Chencun) and Long (Dongguan Shilong). The meaning of strolling around flower market at Chinese New Year’s Eve is to “sell laziness and encourage diligence”. As the rhyme goes, “sell laziness, sell laziness, sell it till the New Year’s Eve.” Flower market often opens about 10 days before the Spring Festival and ends at 12:00 pm on the last lunar day. New Year’s Eve is the high tide of the event.

原来的花街以卖年花为主，后来逐渐融入不少新鲜元素，卖年货、看表演、玩游戏、尝美食等等，应有尽有。买年花，最紧要讲“意头”。桃花寓意走“桃花运”；金桔象征“大吉大利”；水仙取“花开富贵”的好兆头；富贵竹、发财树当然是希望来年“财源滚滚”......一家老小或三五知己齐齐行花街，感受热闹的过年气氛，是一种特别的体验。

The 34th Chencun Spring Festival Flower Market will be held from Feb. 3rd to 14th at the exhibition center square of Shunde Chencun Flower World. This year, there are not only all types of orchids and other flowers, but also gourmet and shopping that show the charm of Shunde culture and industry.

Gaoming: Six-in-one fun

高明花市预计2月6日在西江新城体育中心开业，本次花市将分为六大区域。

Gaoming Flower Market is estimated to open on Feb. 6th in the sports center of Xijiang New City. It covers six areas.

其中，文艺表演区有舞龙、舞狮等岭南风俗表演；中华美食区以高明濑粉、合水角仔、均安蒸猪、大良双皮奶等岭南美食为主，异地美食为辅；鲜花品牌区售卖各色鲜花、插花；在年桔区，各类年桔、盆栽等你带回家；在年货区，你可以买到节庆装饰、对联年画等年货。
